There are limitless number of reasons it may not be accurate every time :/. I'd rather get null data (that doesn't affect the requester's profile in either direction) than someone just auto-submitting a mistaken calculation that throws an $1,800/hr rating into the mix lol.

Its certainly not a perfect system, but its better than no help in time-tracking whatsoever and slightly less evil than auto-reporting potentially bad data IMO. If anyone has better systems I'm all ears though

 

In theory, absolutely. But in practice, accuracy isn't really the selling point, is it?

A noble goal ... sure.

I suspect for most, it's ballpark figures/"close enough for government work."

Personally, I think it'll be a rare case when I say (other than for batches) ... wow that extra 20 seconds is a total non-starter.

To be clear, I don't REALLY care ... I'm one of those people that marks totally agree to the questions about do you spend time analyzing things that don't particularly pertain to you.

And it's like the ACA ... you gave it to me and now you snatched it away
