I was just told I'd be evaluating fellow worker (turker id) as if I wouldn't recognize my own id or something...

 

Dave brought me home some of these last night haven't decided what to do with them.

 

I'll let someone less biased touch on TO1 vs TO2 if they want but in general you shouldn't filter by TO. If you do requesters who might be good but got downvoted by the unwashed masses that congregate on TO wont ever pop up on your scraper.

More importantly, depending on which script you use, Requesters who don't have any reviews at all will be filtered out. Depending on how many rejections you can take to drop below 99% that's honestly a really, really bad setup for you since a lot of new Requesters overpay for their work IMO. Obviously there are plenty that underpay as well, but the fact you can't even see them to begin with to distinguish which is which is really problematic if you're trying to maximize your earnings IMO.

Its better in the long run to aggressively block/filter out Requesters you know suck than to let someone else act as a filter to your HITs. I'd even say the same about TV tbh. Tons of surveys are different depending on how you answer, reading speed, etc so if someone who just has a slow day leaves the first/only review on a Requester even on TV that can screw you out of a good HIT.

That's all for me, anyway, some folks like to have others filter for them since it takes all the detective work / thinking out of things. If something is rated at $50/hr, well you probably want to at least try it so filtering by other people's opinions works in your favor in those instances pretty well. Either way you're relying on trust which is notoriously difficult to do over the Internet.

 

Kennywood? I was there last Saturday... I'd definitely recommend shelling out the extra couple bucks for a VIP pass; every line was 45 minutes to an hour. Got 3 coasters and 3 haunted houses in 5.5 hours.

 

Warframe update comes out tonight but the Panthers play the Eagles tonight too Hopefully warframe updates gets delayed until after the game
