    My kiddo (no school today) who is eating breakfast and has ketchup on his plate starts talking about ketchup and tomato paste and tomato soup and the school made condensed tomato soup with milk instead of water once and it's the best and where do you find tomato concentrate so we can make our own ketchup and I like V8 AND OMG MAKE IT STOP.

    Preach. I remember before my daughter could talk we were all like "Man, I wish you could talk so you could tell us what you want" and now we're like "KID JUST SHUT UP FOR A MINUTE. YES THAT IS A BOOK."

    She's now started asking what we're doing. "What doing daddy?" And will not stop until you tell her.

    Child babble is pretty easy to deal with. You just tune them out until they ask a question(at which point you just say mhmm or something) and let them keep talking forever. I've gotten pretty good at it.
