My programming background was originally in C++ and Java. I'm only a baby to the Javascript world.

I wonder whether HIT finders and scrapers programmed as native desktop applications would like... blow up the Internet, or something.

Up to 223, I missed the first batch this morning and only got a few of the returns. Damn you Pacific time!

 

There was a huge difference in performance from plain javascript and when MTS switched to jquerry so yeah I bet that native applications would be even better if they could talk to the browser at a deep enough level.
