Isn't going to function. You're running that on the endor page (and excluding it from turkerhub) but it needs to be run on youtube (at which point, you can no longer exclude TH, or include endor for that matter) in order for it to be able to click on the button you're querying, as the button itself only exists on YouTube. iFrames cannot (by default, depending on domains) communicate with the parent frame/window. You can use postMessage and some finagling around this but that's a whole different story.

The snippet @NBadger posted was for a different script if I'm not mistaken.. one posted a long time ago for the Rekogs I believe? Not the one from , (which will likely default to playing vids on TH until he finishes the send message half of the setup & limits it to mTurk origin calls only).

You script might work only for the Sergey's and not for TH if you also happen to be changing the embedded URL to the autoplay since it'd function as a quasi-sanity check, but you definitely need to:

In it for it to be able to execute the command you have in there now. If you don't also have a script running on endor that changes the src to autoplay it wont work anyway. And, if you do change the src, it'll likely just autoplay without the YT button click.

Oh, you might also be able to query document.referrer from the iFrame and "sanity check" it that way w/o fussing with postMessage. Following your method it'd be:

You don't need to exclude TH this way since it will only fire if the parent window is mturk, which means it'll only fire on mTurk embedded HITs.

But I'd use ,'s script and just shove that "sanity" check in there until he finished the messaging functionality since his plays at 2x speed by default.
