When I had my tattoo mock up done, the guy wrote "one TUFF hummingbird." BOY OH BOY, am I glad one of the few times I was on the ball was making sure I had a mock up done and looked over it. I can't even imagine getting halfway through a tattoo and realizing I had the word TUFF on myself.

The new one will look amazing and you can always have a good giggle over stupid shit from when you were a teenager.

 

I love it!! Where does the symbol come from? I had to look up what ARDS was and all I can say is boy, am I sympathetic! I have asthma and other breathing issues including a deviated septum and enlarged turbinates along with being a dummy who decided smoking between ages 14-23 was a great idea, so I know what it's like to not be able to breathe properly to a lesser extent. How are you doing these days?

@ChrisTurk True story; kid I knew in high school had the word "CERVIX" in scroll letters tattoo'd up his forearm. Odd right? Well not to him. You see, in his misinformed linguistic confusion he thought in Latin cervix means strength. He must not have continued on to read why exactly this 'neck like' muscle was so ...strong. Aside from that apparently he missed what it meant in anatomy class. He ended up having it removed over multiple laser sessions, at a high cost on a few different levels.

 

While your old one wasn't that bad, I can sympathize with poor teenage tattoo choices. I've got one from when I was 19 that I really need to have covered one of these days. I was too young to know how cliche it is, and the work is SO SO bad.

I normally steer people away from CyberPower because of the trouble I've had with their desktops, but they've usually got some great laptop deals when it comes to spec/$ ratio. As long as they're not dysfunctional, that might be a good place to check.

 

LOL, I must be missing something because I saw where you said "no kids, right?" but don't see this direct quote anywhere. No, I actually have three dogs too, so definitely no kids. I have no idea what childbirth is like.
