10/24 - Tubular Tuesday!

I've prob seen a larger range of anime then most people tbh. Even more so considering that I only started watching around 4 years ago.

 

Only because most people have seen 1 or fewer anime. Lol.

I can't speak for him, but I wouldn't even if I had a $20k week
I've only posted my earnings twice ever. Once at the end of my week probation and once when I hit $100 in a day for the first time.
I never post it (weekly or PE) for pretty much the reasons @SeDuCeR lists (also I've heard some horror stories involving private messages lol)
The satisfaction of sharing my earnings with people doesn't outweigh the disappointment I see in others, at least for me. Everyone is different though

 

In some of my old jobs you would get in trouble if you discussed your salary (made no sense but I guess it was to keep the peace).No one should be PE shamed because they made more than others that day (or daily). That is crazy and if you guys make 110000 in a week, I am just going to be happy for ya!

Fuck that noise bro. I always struggle and I don't find PE postings anything but inspiring. I say post em and if someone is a massive jerk out em. We don't need toxic people in our community.

All you guys talking about telling people your PE.

I like to post my PEs because I'm very mildly proud of it sometimes. My cat doesn't care, and my girlfriend doesn't care, and I'm not going to call up my friends and family to tell them what I made on pinterests. And although I know that no one here actually cares, those empathetic 5/5 pay notifications tickle my fancy and make it all worth the while.

 

I agree. and also when someone says "PE: $300 MEAHHH" or "it's ok I guess" seriously WTF is wrong with this person. maybe go back to having no GOOD quals and a good rig and set up, and get $30 instead, maybe they will appreciate that $300 more

 

Sometimes you need to let people be disappointed in themselves, otherwise they may never find the spark to improve.

I guess it depends on your philosophy on life, and whether you consider "feeling good about yourself" to be the highest possible virtue.

If you've got someone or something to fight for (say, you're a parent), competence is more important than having someone blow smoke up your ass about how "good you're doing".

 

How long ago was this?! The National Labor Relations Act prohibits restricting or punishing salary or work condition discussion. It was passed in 1935. I don't know if salary discussions were added later.
