10/27 - Fix 'er up Friday!

Seriously, I have the next 5 hours where I have to be in front of my computer right now with absolutely nothing else to do but stare at the screen. I mean, I'm getting paid to do nothing technically which is cool but I'm also very bored.

 

That sounds like my job lol, I am passing the time with Stranger Things season 2

 

Is she requesting access to yalls account? What the....??

 

Maybe you are right, but I am not holding my breath.

 

Because we are spying on people...Kind of a stretch but it works

 

I just finished episode 2 and so far it's really good. I'm on a break between shifts right now but am ready to get back to watching it

 

I always get worried they're going to find out I'm turking and be mad at me but like....I dunno what they expect. The lady who was retiring that I was hired to replace worked part time and when she was training me she joked about how her monitors were set up the way they were so they couldn't see her playing Facebook games.

My first couple months of working here I'd ask my boss for stuff to do, but I learned pretty quickly that if he has anything at all for me to do (even unimportant busy work) then he'll bring it to me anyways, otherwise I'm just reminding him every day that I don't have a full shift of work but I'm paid for a full shift.

 

Its Friday.. w/o quals or masters.. gonna be a rough 5 hours for ya

 

I have masters and quals but I am attempting to watch stranger things instead of working. I keep getting distracted though lol

 

Plenty of stuff will drop, but it all dies in 20min lol. There's no free money just laying around atm like there has been all week.

 

My boss actually recommended I turk during work since in the past we had talked about mturk in general and they care about me getting financially stable. I work at a computer lab on campus so there's not really much to do besides homework/netflix/mturk. Sometimes I do stuff like update the group policy or image computers and fill up the printer with paper but that's pretty much it.

 

How is it so far? It's working through my queue on Sonarr at the moment.
