I strongly disagree today

 

I started on that a long time ago, but got stuck somewhere along the way...I think it had something to do with html and css...which is something I still haven't learned. I should hop back on there when I get some down time.

 

Everything you've said in this discussion is spot on for how I feel. Sure you have friends in specific areas, but your SO is your partner that you're sharing your life with intimately (not just in the physical way). You're supposed to care about what makes them happy or unhappy, what they're interested in, what their daily life is like, and vice versa. I learned a skill/hobby just to keep up with jargon before, and I don't regret it, and it felt awesome to get the "wow, I didn't know you knew that" when I busted out some knowledge on the topic. Your SO should be your sidekick and partner, not someone who just hangs around? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills that this is even a discussion?

 

It's okay, the first 50 modules or so take only a handful of seconds to complete and barely require any thought.
