The hit finder can do the same thing as hit scraper. You can use the MTS version and run it on worker. If you use the Hit Finder Beta script on greasyfork you can use this url: https://worker.mturk.com/?finder_beta

Backup your hit database and if you're really paranoid about it, check the 'export CSV' button. That will allow you to open the backup file as a spreadsheet.
