Basically, if you think it's slow, you'll be preconditioned to search for evidence that it is.

You might notice a Reddit post saying, "is it slow for anyone else today?" (that might've been there regardless, but you wouldn't have otherwise noticed) and then said to yourself "ha, I knew it wasn't just me!"

It's kinda like horoscopes, where you just kinda only pay attention to the parts that seem to ring true and discard the rest.

I actually used to make more money when I did surveys, but I needed the cash more back then. Surveys can make you some good funds while you wait for batches to come up. Just find some on the HITs Log and panda them or pull them off HF when they pop up till you have a few in your queue you can bang out. Spending 15 minutes to pick up 4-5 surveys to do one after the other is better than getting one at a time.

When batches pop up you can switch to those. Just watch the HIT timers.

 

This. Basically the only way you're going to make bank purely on batches is if you have a bunch of closed quals and you get lucky with what drops on a particular day.

 

I've made plenty of money from non closed batches.

 

Have you checked any app permission into your Outlook account?

I don't know a lot about Outlook (I don't use it) but some of my friends were getting malicious spam attacks on their FB account, it ended up being either 1. A crazy permission they gave an app to post on their FB account, or 2. The E-mail address they used to give permission to post on their FB account.

I know Outlook isn't FB, but the idea is the same behind it. What has permission to your Outlook account beyond the usual webpage login?

You've been given all the advice, you're just ignoring it at this point. i saw 3 pages of people responding to you and trying to help, and your next post is "is halloween slow?"

Tomorrow will be 9 months exactly in reality, but now that I'm doing it semi-full-time on top of my normal job it feels like an eternity lol.

The first thing you want to do when you brush your teeth is to assure that you have a quality toothbrush. The ideal toothbrush according to dentists is one with a smaller head and soft bristles. You also want to make sure you change your toothbrush at least every 60 days.

You can wet the brush first if you prefer, then put a pea-sized dab of fluoride toothpaste on the brush and start on the upper left quadrant of your mouth. Using an up and down motion (not circular) brush that section of your mouth for 30 seconds before moving to the other side. Make sure you attend to all surfaces. Continue in this fashion for all 4 quadrants of your mouth, brushing each section for a minimum of 30 seconds.

Then, when you are done attending to your teeth, it is time to brush your tongue and the roof of your mouth. Use the same guildelines as above. Brush each area for a minimum of 30 seconds.

For optimal oral hygiene, proceed to flossing between your teeth and follow up with a good rinse of Listerine or a similarly medicated mouthwash in order to flush the remaining plaque and germs from your mouth.

Good thing about surveys is that people share them pretty freely.

There's not much financial self-harm in doing so, since you can generally only take a survey once.

A survey you've completed but someone else hasn't is a perfect example of "one man's trash is another man's treasure".

 

I'm going to go ahead and disagree with you on that.

 

Mturk is what you make of it. If you want it to be a job, treat it like a job. Don't sit around and watch Youtube videos and complain it is slow. Actively seek out work, seek out and implement tips people give you, continue to stay busy. If you are sitting and staring at HF and you are making less than $20 in an entire day... You are just being picky with what you are choosing to work on. Be less picky and just work.
