It bugs me too, but MTC posts every single thing ever, so even if we refrain from posting things it's going to show up there from them. It just is what it is.

 

Theres some way to hide HITS from it right? I thought the first or second day of this forum someone was talking about it? Maybe Im crazy?

 

I just got back from my ~7 hour drive from my apartment back down home.... did I miss anything? Anything I should be working on?

 

I believe @ChrisTurk debunked the hide theory at one point

 

Some Speech Research recording HITs up. I can never get in more than a few of these before I get the "invalid URL parameters" message.

 

I have seen people using the [HIDE] tag, but I have no idea if that does anything.

 

Yeah HN gets around that pretty easily.

Those are most likely "left over" from some export template edits some of us did a few months ago. HN has been reading posts with the hide tags for months.

I use an export that HN can't read, at least last time I bothered to check. But it is all pretty useless since almost everything is posted from other sites as @jessers noted earlier.
