The internet can be so dumb. I have a store credit card for a furniture store I opened a long time ago, I don't want it to close because it's my second oldest line of credit. The closest location is over 500 miles away since I moved since opening it, and I don't need new furniture anyways. Asked r/personalfinance if there was anything I can do to keep it open. I don't know if I can just call and ask for an increase every couple of months to keep that bad boy riding or what, which is why I asked there because I'm not going to call them and say "I have no intention of ever using this card again, how do I keep it open anyways?" I thought my question was pretty straightforward.

Just got back from picking up my kid! He's home! (Guess I'm happy the hubby is home too. ) We're all in the same state for the first time in quite a while. NOW I'm ready to turk. Bring it on, peoples. (Because my kid is so happy to be home, he went straight to his computer and won't hang out with me, and hubby's going for a nap. LOL)

I have one calling for years for a debt I don't even know about threatening to put a lien on my apartment (not possible) and that if I don't call back they will continue "without my consent" and that the phone call qualifies as notice being given.... been tryin for like 4 years or so to get me to call them using this fake "legal services" moniker lol
