In H.S. I was on the debate team and our case was about how dangerous the Beechcraft Bonanza V-tail was and that they should all be recalled. My teammate from back then emailed me a license plate he saw the other day that said 'V-Tail'.

See, they call the V tail a doctor killer because it tended to be bought by inexperieced pilots and/or old fighter pilots who wouldn't keep up with their flight time enough or adjust to the correct flight style for the plane, and would inevitably crash it when they tried to fly it outside the envelope. Fwiw, I've never felt uncomfortable in one, and I've felt super uncomfortable in some of the rickety ass things we've taken up. I was way more nervous in something like the

Mind you, I probably didn't need to say any of that but I have a deep love for v tails and I will always defend them...even against nobody.
