Just to piggyback this: this whole pin meltdown provides two good lessons - 1. What Leafs said - provide good work. Just because work approves and you get paid, there are still possible consequences. Instead of losing a qual or whatever, the platform can lose a requester. 2. It's almost an ABQ thing. I bit on Chris's invite 8 months ago even though I wasn't entirely interested in the work, because ABQ. It's not always just a qual thing, it goes with any information, resource, script, whatever. TH is awesome in the way that since we're hitting 100 pages a day, someone can come in at 5pm and ask the same question that's been asked 100 times all day without getting patronized over it like we all did at MTG... but it never hurts to pay close attention and keep your eye open for any resource given anywhere.

The platform is, as far as I can tell, 100% locked down, no invites, no open registration. Of course there's no point in talking about it and I'm honoring Chris's secrecy about it. FWIW, I don't imagine Pins will stay there (they're obviously still posting on mturk), but it would certainly be interesting to see what they do from here. We should all mostly take it as a wake-up call that when requesters aren't happy, they DO have other options.

Did nobs leave?? I really liked it and didn't get as much as others but I really looked at ALL the pictures. As for C-sats I am not even sure how it is possible. What if the doctor just totally messes up at the end?

 

Fwiw, Pins also post sproadically on Clickworker as well. They literally had the sexuality ones today up and I did a bunch. I wouldn't be shocked if pins want to spread their work out a bit between platforms to see what works best/have more variety of workers.
