I rarely get many PREs because of the settings I use to run each of my scripts. HF can indeed be used as a replacement for OW, but I haven't build up my include list as much as what I've got on OW just yet, and I also don't trust www to scrape as efficiently at this time (and I don't want to run a worker scraper on a faster cycle and interfere with PC), so I use both at different intervals. I'm not very good at explaining myself, but this system has been working well for me lately.

 

One of these days, I'll transcribe an entire "Choose Your Own Adventure" book and post the whole thing here as a single post in spoiler format.

It is isn't if the workers were properly trained / qualled. It becomes more of a problem, when some joker in a Facebook group, or wherever spreads some shitty method of how to complete HITs extremely fast. It is almost never followed by, and this is how you complete it PROPERLY. I don't think it should be unreasonable to expect good results when you pay for it.

Yeah Hit finder's include list is similar to overwatch. Overwatch just does it a lot better imo.

 

if it's working for you, then that's always the best solution, as long as youre continually improving it ^_^, which from your explanation, i have no doubt that you are!

this does beg a question that i've wondered about though, does anyone know if when things appeor on the scraper is affected by worker vs www?

i know for panda's they do, as they're grabably roughly 1 second ahead of time. is the same true for scrapers/hf?

I'm not sure if I understand your question correctly, but I have noticed that I will often see something pop on OW (worker) before it shows on HF (www), even though I have OW set to scrape every 6 seconds and HF to scrape every 3.
