This forum has a good number of Requesters that 'nudge' the parameters around by posting fake news. Probably less on this forum, still, than any others (which is why we are here). Second, you have a lot of liars in this biz. Indians on VPNs, kids <18, lying Young Adults who think they are the next Zuck... the list goes on.

Now, I think most people here are sincere. Again, why we're here. But I wouldn't trust an mTurk distribution at all. Amazon's not releasing that shit. This is a pure marketplace in Amazon's favor, in the Requester's favor... and among the more experienced and wiser Turkers, in our favor.

I think long-term the liars will come up short. That's not wisdom, that's observation of how the mTurk system works.

So, discussing whether some Excel distribution on a 10yo Quora post is valid or not is irrelevant, as is the post.

Yeah I was pissed at GF for being careless and letting it happen, and told her that the next cat I'd get would be a $1000 Bengal that wouldn't happen to.
