11/09 - TREX Thursday!

$2 Hopsecutioners in Augusta, GA taught me to never touch them again. Great beer, just no.

Edit: I actually have 4 of a 6 pack just chillin in my pantry because my friend left them here 6 months ago. Won't touch them.

 

I live in East Pernt. luckily in a "safer" region, although my home was robbed a few months back - still can't tell how they got in.
And I fucking HATE traffic because some dumbass decided to merge THREE highways and hospital on ramp ALL at the same fucking spot.

 

Great Lake's Commodore Perry will mess you up good. I drink it often.

 

I live in Milton, soooooooooo... going to the airport is about my roughest time.

 

I tutor some students from Milton HS - *shaking head* . that school needs an enema.

 

I LOVE John Mayer and I have never found a person who hasn't looked at me funny when I've said he's an AMAZING guitarist. I do like some of his normal stuff too though, I lived in GA for a short stint and couldn't stop my cheesy self from playing Why Georgia like all the damn time driving up the 85 when I lived there. I miss GA so much, I'd honestly love to retire down there.

 

Come back, it's the best. I've never left. I want to but not really

 

Omfg. I just had a flashback to the Ben and Jerry’s beer that New Belgium made and getting it for like 3 bucks each at a fair.

That ended well.

 

Locally my friends and I all truly believe it's a way higher ABV than they are listing. Of the times I've gotten belligerent drunk, it's always been either Commodore Perry or liquor as the culprit. I've drank way higher ABV beers and can handle my alcohol well but I've gotten down right stupid after a sixer of those.

 

Oh dear Christ I love New Belgium, I'm glad I wasn't there.

 

New plan. We can both just move back to Georgia and be best friends forever and hang out with @HarryHood and all the assorted forum folks who live around there.

I haven't traveled a whole lot, but it's definitely one of my favorite states. The food is AMAZING, lots of decent flat land hiking, very cool scenery, excellent weather, decent cost of living, super nice people. Saying this as someone who was living in Columbus, which isn't even a great area. Ya'll gotta exterminate those cockroaches before I'll come back though, this midwestern girl can't handle that.

 

Don't worry, that beer wasn't as good you'd think. It's okay and all, but I wanted it to taste like some B&J, but it barely tasted different from any other New Belgium.

 

I mean I've left and traveled just never lived anywhere else. St. Lucia is definitely my top choice for living, and dammit I will live there one day, but yeah out of the places I've been, I dig it the most. NC is great too though.

 

I lived in a tiny town of 346 people where I was routinely blamed for the Yankees burning down the mill during the Civil War.

I really adored it lol. Being the scandalous town Yankee was good fun!
