    The operative word in your sentence is "I."

    When someone who's trying to get in shape looks up the average time to run a mile, they find articles suggesting 8-10 minutes, not 3.43 minutes (the fastest time on record). If you want to know what a decent typing speed is, look up the average (40-50 for normal, 90-110 for typing intensive jobs), not the world record (212, 150 sustained).

    Data is only useful when it applies to the average, not when you compare it to the cream of the crop. We have had this conversation on TH many times regarding comparing various members' weekly PE. It makes zero sense to "weight" certain members' times as more valuable, unless they happen to have a very consistent record for hitting dead center on the average. A varied number of responses is useful for discovering both what is probable (the average) and what is possible (the specifics), but the former should always be given precedence. For example, I make $17-$20/hr on a particular transcription batch that I know most will only make $7-$10 on, because I type very very quickly. It's useful, therefore, for someone to see my review in comparison to the reviews of those with a slower typing speed, but it would be ludicrous to weigh mine as the more helpful indicator of time.

    This is also, incidentally, why on hits that have a large amount of reading I tend to include a note that times may range +/- a certain number of minutes, because I know I read way faster than the average person and it is therefore more useful to the majority to include a notice that my time is not normative.

    I got good at tying shoes when I had clip-in pedals and laced shoes on a fixed-gear bike.
    Tucked the laces in the middle very similarly to that.
