My version of the paper would be:

"All's fair in love, as it is in war. The end."

Unlike college students, marketers are rewarded for expressing themselves in fewer words.
Minimum page/word/etc. requirements in school were something that made no sense to me.

Well I think this college stuff is mostly a bunch of shit to get money out of me, but I want even more money than I currently make so here we are.

I also chose a topic I knew the teacher found interesting for brownie points :D

Depends on the part of marketing you're working in tbh. I have to write buckets of words for the sake of marketing. Brevity is not what the client wants here, in my specific niche of creative bullshitting.

he following is a summary of activity for your Mechanical Turk account for the week ending Nov 11, 2017.

Your HIT activity for this week:
    - Number of HITs submitted: 219

Approvals and payments that occurred this week:
    - Number of HITs approved: 244
    - Number of HITs rejected: 2

One rejection deserved.. didn't pay attention to instructions. Second one: I was robbed. LOL. At any rate. spent most of the week doing nothing. I mean nothing. Watching bad television. sleeping, nothing.. BUT I needed that. The Holidays are coming, and that is kinda like Winter is coming for me. :p

I'm letting my include do its thing...and it's been pretty quiet. Just sitting here eating a 'taco' omelette, home fries, and english muffin with homemade blackberry jam while binge watching some trashy tv with the boss lady.

The only reliable things that tend to post on Sundays are closed quals. Pretty much the same for Saturdays too.

"Self Improvement Sat/Sun" is better rule of thumb to go by. Do things that will increase your PE in the coming M-F grind. Turn on OW/your include list if you want in case Pins/C-Sats/whatever drops but honestly for the average Turker you're better off spending your daily mental energy on something else.

Especially early on as a Turker, missing out on $5 today can mean making an extra $10-$20 next week.

Yeah it's shown not to work, and a lot of profs don't recommend it. But people are now way into that. I noticed it didn't work out for me years ago when laptops were unusual so went back to writing. I figured because I was old... nope. turns out there's a conduit in written language that keyboarding does not fulfill. It's almost as if written language came about because of some connection between the brain and certain manual dexterity... which is exactly what happened. I mean QWERTY is not something a Phonecian would come up with!

My job in IM is "getting people to pay attention to things".

Titles are, by several degrees of importance, more significant than content.

They're the only part of content that 90% of people read, and they determine the absolute amount of traffic for the 10% who bother to click.
