Buttermilk huh? I may have to do that. A local meat market just opened near my house (and right next to my favorite liquor store), so I'm getting some great meats from places other than giant factory farms. My chicken game has really picked up since they opened.

Buttermilk seems like it would be really good for some added fat content. Would help the breast for sure. Not the greatest at doing 2-3 day marinades since I usually plan stuff about 1 day in advance.

    https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/7264-buttermilk-roast-chicken

I do something like this recipe basically, and you can def do an overnight marinade and it will still be tasty AF. I especially like grilling it when I can. I vary the spices a bit, but it always turns out rad. I ended up doing it on the grill that time, because that was when Irma rolled through GA and knocked my power out. This is why I was so insistent on hooking the fridge up to the generator, I wasn't gonna let my chicken spoil before I cooked it dammit!

Around 10 minutes and the booklet is kind of unpleasant.

@Randomacts I read the thread some more, and apparently I'm part of your "troll group" because I relayed that I made 15K in a month doing nothing but sitting on my ass playing CSGO, and that I learned from people who would've considered my 15K/mo. to be chump change.

I never bullshitted anyone over there. I've always let people know that was what I was making, and that those days have ended (for now).

Haha. TBH I think you're a net positive here. 100% net positive on me personally. I've never been more driven to push out content, and especially to at least look at monetizing it so I can support doing more content.

TH has always been my "for fun" project, its profitable because of pure generosity and that's a bad business model at the size its getting to (ugh why wont you people stop being awesome and enticing more people to join us). I now think there's an avenue to turn it into more part-time job to supplant Turking versus being at the cost of my Turking time, which was never a consideration until you showed up. And if not I'll learn some super valuable skills in failing lol.

Mostly :ba: from me, though you'll absolutely get my competitive fire buttons pushed from time to time LOL.

Another good chicken one is doing a slow roast that gives you a more rotisserie style chicken. I rubbed this sucker down in smoked paprika, garlic, onion, bit of cayenne, healthy dose of kosher salt.

MOTHER OF CHICKEN, IT WAS SO GOOD!

I normally do a quick roast to get crispy skin and then let it rest with butter and rosemary while I finish up , cause who has the time to roast a chicken for 3 damn hours? After that, I do. It was one of the best chickens I ever ate, and apart from basting once an hour or whatever, pretty low effort. Super moist and the skin was super crispy and tasty.

If you ever want to make a chicken so good you get immediately laid, I can highly reccomend those 2 recipes for sure. :emoji_joy:

Brigading on reddit, to my understanding, will pretty much get everyone banned anyway - and TurkerHub possibly put on the site's blacklist.

So.. Forreal folks.. Can we not. Or throw me some links correcting my misunderstanding of how it works.

Is everyone here familiar with what a Kinkajou is? Can you prounounce it? Does it sound oddly sexual? If you saw Kinkajou Krafts with a picture of this adorable guy [IMG] would you be scared away or intrigued?
