I caught 1 .40 and I had 3 OC's running - I don't know whats going on...crazy. I also did it where I just ran 1 PC and had my PRE down to 0 and still nothing. I think it is an error with web cache. You have to be actively searching for an elongated period of time

@Randomacts and I found that if you enter the GID into OW you can block out individual hits. I name them beginning with the number one so they stay grouped together and can be turned off easily when I refresh

 

Ridiculously common with clients of mine.

I'd become a pro at using some crazy tools to shatter a single master MP3 (yes, MP3 - WAVs apparently get lost a lot, too... lol...) into separate stems.

Many of these tools will remain nameless, since they're a bit obscure and are part of my competitive advantage in case I decide to actually start pushing mixing/mastering services again, but it's amazing how much great stuff you can do to improve a song.

The ones I started with got pissed when I told them that I'd charge them for beats and recording.

If I still had the stems and about 15 minutes, I could make it sound a lot better.

BUT the fact is definitely you can be a great artist but if your engineer is shit, then your music will probably be shit too~

 

I want to do it by result. When a result is returned and I am not able to use that one it just does not show that one or it shows like a grayed out result. I'm tired of hitting items that I am am not qualified for

 

Morning all! I didn't have much chance to work on Sergey's over the weekend so I'm going to knock these out until I cap or the batch runs out!

 

The industry is flood with wanna be producers and sound techs. Anyone with a PC and an internet connection can grab FL Studio (Fruity Loops) and be an expert in their own mind in minutes(sort of there is a learning curve, FL isn't easy to learn for amateurs).

But Talent will always be talent and will shine through to crap.

That's why people send me verses and hooks and shit because I don't let anyone record here for free.
Especially now that I have the setup I do, but most people just want to make music for "fun" with the hopes of being famous or some shit.
Hopes and dreams don't pay the bills~

This artist right here has owed me $100 for like 2 years now.

Every once in a while, he messages me telling me that he wants new mixing/mastering and that mine's amongst the best he knows or whatever, then I remind him that he still owes me $100 and he laughs it off and goes silent for a few months. Lol.

This was one of the songs I mixed for him.



Money definitely helps you afford engineers that aren't terrible. Lol.

I use it more then pro tools tbh, but yeah as long as I bring some smiles and happiness to people.

well I could start that hit with the 4 day timer....nah still got 2 days 3 hours

 

Ahhh. I do miss a lot of the features TM had like mute individual hits per requester.. My dashboard looks/feels sooo empty without it. But it was a memory hog.

And I am almost positive it would have to be rewritten from the ground up for it to work on worker.

If you have the skill level and can do that I would love to check it out when you're done.

That is if you don't mind of coarse.
