    Don't be sorry, my sister in law is losing her mom to dementia. My nephew told me, "Grandma doesn't know who I am anymore, how can Grandma's not know you?" That about did me in. You have nothing to apologize for, that is the beauty of this board. There are a lot of smart asses on here, but the depth of humanity and kindness never fails. Its a pretty cool place that we have all found. I'll be thinking of you and praying for you. I am not just saying that, I will be doing it. (Hugs and Peace)

    @LLL @jamer So my dad had dementia for a few years and it was tough. He'd go through phases where he didn't know me and then did, same with my mom and my other siblings. The last month I saw him, he didn't even know me, kept thinking I was someone who he worked with. He died last year from a heart attack and oddly enough that was one year ago today and I didn't even realize it until my mom sent a group text to everyone.
