I pretty much rely on ASMR to get any reasonable amount of sleep. And while I'm not particularly relaxed by the mouth sound videos that are out there, I understand how people could be.

Little story time while I wait for a HIT. So the update on the furnace, call the insurance company on Saturday and they send out a local contractor (does not work for insurance company). He stops by Sunday and meets with me, looks over everything with me and the tenant. Tells me the motor is just seized up, it's covered under insurance and that he'd grab the part tomorrow. I watch him take the motor out of the furnace and ask him if installing it will go just as quickly and he told me it was a 10 minute installation. Tenant is a good dude I trust, so we all agree that I won't be involved tomorrow so I don't have to call off work.

3 hours into the contractor being there I start getting a flurry of messages from my tenant "Jess, he's messing things up, he doesn't have the right parts, keeps talking about "just hardwiring" things himself. Oh crap it was just working a second ago and now everything completely shut down." Contractor spliced into the wires and completely messed everything up, my furnace no longer has power going to it, and the dude is trying to charge me out of pocket to repair what he messed up, because conveniently what he ruined isn't something that's covered under my insurance plan. Waiting on insurance to explain to me how exactly they are going to fix this. Have the dude recorded saying "yes, there was power to the unit before I started working on it, I don't know what happened but now it doesn't get power." Guy was super redneck and I feel like he just thought I was a dumb girl he could pull one over on without me questioning anything.

 

I don't know I used to agree with this but USPS always delivered my Amazon Fresh orders intact and on time, Since I started ordering groceries from Jet.com FedEx has damage something every time can't imagine what they did this morning that thay actuallhad to sen it back to Jet rather than complete the delivery

 

ASMR is amazing for people who experience it. I felt it for the first time at 5 years old. Some people are just extremely sensitive to sounds and have different triggers. I only enjoy a few specific things. Mouth/eating sounds are yucky to me.
