Playa was fine but a bit too busy for me. We took the bus down to Tulum while we were down there. We rented a private villa on Isla right on the edge of El Centro. Able to walk everywhere that way. Rented a golf cart one day to drive down to Punta Sur. So freakin amazing lol.

 

The SM57 is mainly for micing instruments - the SM58 is a tried a true Vocal Mic...unless you want to go Tube

Nintendo almost never discounts consoles in the first several years even for black friday. You might get some stores making up a custom bundle for it but I would count it being any cheaper than it is normally.

 

If you can catch it you can submit it has always been my experience w/ them.

I've had 57's and used them on vocals. I like the flexibility.
58 has a weird nasal resonance compared to the 57 that I just don't like for recordings.
Ideally I'd just go with a 7B again, but that's out of my budget range for now.

So jealous. I've tried a few times to quit, and some attempts were somewhat successful, but I always end up failing. One of the worst things about it for me is that, where I live now, cigarettes are damn near double the price of where I lived when I first started smoking. I'm at the point where I know I'm only doing it when I'm bored and that very few of them throughout the day "feel good." I actually do really well with the gum, but I've talked myself out of sticking to it so many times.
