imo albums are still the easiest way to digest more than a song or two from an artist.

I've been listening to a lot of Punch Brothers. It's groovy complex folk music.

Might not be your type though.

 

I could count on one hand the number of albums I've heard that I liked more than one or two songs. I was mostly just kidding though because almost no one buys physical media anymore. Great for me though as I can just add those one or two decent songs to a playlist and move on lol.

 

I'm still stuck in the 60s-90s

 

I'm so out of the loop with new music. Last night I took a musical trip down memory lane and was listening to things like Black Tambourine, Galaxie 500, Velocity Girl, etc.

My musical taste changed a lot recently, I guess like grew up. I suddenly poofed out of my (admittedly way too long) emo phase, and now I mostly listen to 90's-2000's popular stuff, a lot of Hanson, and oddly enough Seth MacFarlane. He does some like really old style stuff that's really good.

But i'm in the process now of making my Christmas playlist
