Gotta say I never understood Team Rocket's obsession with Pikachu when they had a talking Meowth who seemed able to understand every Pokemon in the world. I mean yeah Pikachu is strong but you have a universal Pokemon translator. How dumb do you have to be to not see the moneymaking potential there?

In all fairness they are idiots lol. I always thought it was dumb that Pikachu which is identified and sort of off handedly presented as one of the smartest pokemon even among his own kind hasn't learned to speak. I mean if a cat can do it... pretty much any other species should be able to. Well except for psyduck and goldeen... but yea.
