    Hey, thanks! I'll check it out. I admire the guy for taking on the ending of WOT and I tried to make it to the end to see how flawlessly he could mimic the style, since he's been pretty praised for it.

    You can try the library if you don't feel the need to own it.
    Discworld isn't one continuous narrative but a bunch of different stories in a shared world. Colour of Magic and The Light Fantastic should be read in order, but The Light Fantastic is the only direct sequel in the series. Most of the books work well as standalone stories. There are characters who appear in multiple books and you can follow their story arcs by reading a few books in order but it's not really necessary for most of the books in the series. I think I started with Pyramids. Small Gods is good stand alone as well. If you want, you can look up lists online that show books where certain characters appear and read those story arcs in order. The books focusing on Death are some of my favorites.

    Oh yeah... I live across the street from a library but forget those are still a thing sometimes. My child self would be disappointed that that is what I've become.

    I read all the books in order. While I think the Death books are great, my favorites are the ones with Tiffany Aching.

    Your library might even have an ebook borrow thing so you don't have to deal with people if you don't want to, and have the convenience of checking out an ebook. Mine uses My Media Mall CloudLibrary and it's super easy.

    Oh wow, I definitely didn't know that was a thing! I probably haven't been to a library in 3 or 4 years. That's a neat feature incase I'm low on time.

    It was a great day but I'm tired now. Thought about turking for like two minutes but just did a transfer and called it quiets. That is the cool thing about this work it will be there tomorrow.
