@Randomacts, so you are using firefox? how are you getting the scripts to work right? my hitscraper keeps blinking on my other monitor and i think it will eventually drive me mad

 

I don't use it with any scripts as that would defeat my purpose of speed. I have however tried it out for a few penny batches and it worked pretty well.

 

so you use both but firefox for batches?

 

I used Firefox for a long time in the 2000s. The problem was they got bloated with all the add-ons and didn't do anything to curb their usage. Once Chrome got more plug-in friendly (because Chrome used to be REALLY rough with Plug-ins) and with a much better memory manager than Firefox, everyone started the Exodus over to Chrome.

I've barely touched Edge because I'm not unsatisfied with Chrome, and because Microsoft has tried to hijack the browser settings for me to switch to it a few times. I won't use it out of principle.

 

Edge is lightning fast and runs the same scripts as Chrome via Tampermonkey.

Stability wins over speed. And speed doesn't make up for the missing features.

A majority does, like I said before.

 

Or you could prove my point and make her get on top.

(just a thought. you may last a little longer if you weren't thinking about potatoes.)

 

Also don't confuse greater speed with a lack of cookies/cache/bookmarks in your firefox as compared to chrome. Even a new chrome profile will be lightning quick compared to your "normal" chrome due to those differences.

 

Firefox is Ubuntu. It's great until you grab a hit and it says your browser sucks use another one. And there's no Wine for Firefox.

I've tested new chrome profiles vs firefox nightly. Firefox nightly is still a lot faster in most cases.
