Not at 3am bruh. I haven’t been able to sleep through the night since we moved here because the neighbors all stick their dogs outside all night and ignore them. They howl for hours. I can’t even put Skeeter out for more than a couple minutes most of the time, without him getting stressed out and howling back nonstop till he hyperventilates.

So yeah, I didn’t get much sleep last night and the dogs on 2/3 sides are still howling off and on.

Send help, I’m gonna fall asleep on my desk. I don’t even understand people who leave their dogs outside basically 24/7 and ignore them.

No. I call the city/ police tipline about every two months on my crook heroin addict neighbors. I even gave the police a video of them breaking into cars and they didn't do anything. :emoji_rage:

Other people's dogs howling is definitely so much more aggravating, especially at night.

And I don't understand that either, or the people who get dogs and just keep them in cages all the time. I've known people who do that, and i've actually called the police on them (the ones that keep them in cages besides taking them out once a day-ONCE- to go to the bathroom) because the dogs deserve so much better than that.

Ok, I have something pretty serious to share. I spend a lot of time at my desk, Mturking, as I'd say a lot of you do. I guess with a full que, who knows how long.. I ended up in ICU with Blood clots to the lung, and I am on oxygen now. So Get up every hour.. wiggle your toes, extend your calves. Blood Clots Kill 300,000 people a year. I was so lucky, if it had hit the wrong artery, sudden death. I don't know if desk work did it, I also took a long trip a few months ago.... but let's not kid anyone, I sit for a long period of time meeting deadlines on this HITS. SO I will be backing off the hunt, doing a few here and there but not as intensely as I used to.. it isn't worth it.

    Don't tempt me.

That's actually the plan with our tax return next year, big ol' privacy fence. Partially for the doggo because he can almost jump the chain link, and partially to not have to look at the neighbors house anymore :emoji_joy:
Your police department sounds about as effective as mine.

    Thank god you are OK!!!

That is SERIOUS and i'm glad you're telling everyone. Easy to overlook the fact you need to walk around or bloodclots can form.

Again i'm just glad you are alright!

    Seriously, everyone, THIS^

I'm so glad you're okay! This thought terrifies me, and I try to remember to get up every 20-30 minutes and move around because of it. I forget though. It's easy to just stare at your screen and turk for two hours before you even think to get up. I'm going to start setting an alert on my phone to remind me.

That is so scary, and I'm very glad you were lucky enough to survive it.

Oh wow, thank goodness you're ok!

I'm lucky in that My attention span or whatever is awful, I can't sit in one place too long I always get up and wander, but I worry about this with my daughter's dad. He works a desk job (data entry) and doesn't even get up to go to the bathroom or anything. I get on to him about needing to get up every so often but i'm not sure he actually does it.

I know! The tech who did my ultra sounds said, blood pools in your calves when you are not moving them and they will break off and go to your lungs, Apparently this causes more deaths than AIDS and Breast Cancer Combined. She said simple stand up, wiggle, EXTEND, walk around, it is uber important. I didn't even feel bad, I had a slight cough, and thought I was having asthma symptoms.

This actually just reminded me I need to fix my cameras. They keep doing this thing where it says "HDD not found" or something and I have to format the hard drive to get them to start recording again. I definitely need better ones though because they're pretty crappy.
