    When they built the Winco it was like heaven because I didn’t have to shop at walmart for low prices anymore, but i also didn’t have to shop at red apple or albertsons for overpriced toilet paper or something.

    And somehow I managed to escape there in the middle of the winter when the only road out of there was closed for weeks at a time.

    I used to walk to the Pilot to get coffee in the morning and stretch my legs, and I remember when some Russian trucker came up to me and tried to get me to translate the English on the store sign that said essentially "I-84 is closed indefinitely due to unsafe roads".

    It's really, really strange how many people I know who have lived in Ontario for some stretch.
    I run into people here back in ,/Keizer all the time who have lived there, too.
