I didn't even know that was possible.. Still think its bumping it b/c of my IP & cookies but I'll take it.

 

There's a good chance that when the prime I have is up (I didn't pay for it, an ex-friend of mine bought it and just shared my account with me, and then when we had a falling out you bet your ass I changed my password immediately lol) i'll buy more, but also every time I buy something on Amazon (which is often) and anything goes wrong with the order, I complain to customer service and when they offer me that awful credit that can only be used on things shipped/sold by amazon, I complain about that and they add a month to my Prime. So maybe if I keep buying enough and complaining enough, i'll never have to pay for it

 

I had it for free for at least a whole year (they kept letting me sign up for free trials )

When the trials ended, they started taking forever to ship things out, so even if something was coming from my own state, it would take at least a week to get here from ordering. It irritated me and I was sort of on strike against paying for it out of spite. But it's half off right now and I need things, so I gave in. I feel like a failure and a sell-out. Hah.

 

Now you'll just buy shit to make sure you cover that $12 in free shipping.

 

It's actually breaking down to $4-something/month, and I'll definitely make that worth it with everything I need for this house in the coming year.

If you sign up for it on Black friday or whatever, it's usually cheaper. It's 100/year if you pay up front any other time without a deal.

I'm actually going through their original shows right now and I'm digging some of them. I just started One Mississippi and it's okay. I think a lot of it is that they don't have the high expectations that Netflix shows have, but they are worth a watch.

Texas has that internet sales tax bullshit. It's 11.90 for me doing it monthly. Really though, an extra dollar or two a month isn't that big a deal to me. Maybe I'll get a year of it on Friday just to feel frugal.
