If you have the pro version of 10 you can meter your ethernet connection and it won't update without you starting the update. I think all versions can meter the wifi connection.

 

I put a sanity check in see if that helps keeping it from running on every page.

I don't think you can do that on the home version of windows. I'm on a pro licence though.

I'll be switching over to linux though once AMD ryzen is out and I build a new computer.

Don't most people leave their computers on all the time? Turning it off and on all the time can actually cause some damage in the long run.

I leave mine on and turn off the monitors when not in use...

Thanks... not sure why my export button wouldn't show up. It was displaying fine on the general hit search page but not on the working the hit or his assigned page.
