11/27 - Mixed-up Monday!

Does anyone have contact information for Pindrop Passport? I've been trying to do one of their HITs for over an hour but keep getting a "Sorry, an error has occurred" message. It worked the first time I called but I had a problem with my mic, and every time afterwards I've gotten an error.

+1 for historic Savannah too. I don't get why people go somewhere that is DEF gonna have adults doing adult fun time things, LATE AT NIGHT, and get offended we are ruining their family vacay. I'm still l aughing at the fact that when we were waiting for our breakfast table, there were 2 chicks who had def partied so hard they were still drunk: 1 was drinking gatorade and had her heels off, the other had smeared mascara, was drinking a miller light, and snapped at me for literally no reason. Her friend told her to shut up and we died laughing. It was basically amazing. I was glad I wasn't hungover.

On a more uplifting note, there was a dad and his daughter I met (12 or so?) who were in Vegas on a daddy daughter date for turkey day. As I understood it, Mom was no longer in the picture, and Dad wanted to make her feel special without cooking a thanksgiving feast. They were out at a reasonable hour and it was super cute, he was wearing a suit and she was in a sparkly dress. She complimented my outfit, so I ended up chatting with her while her dad was on the phone, he assured me she would be back at the hotel by 9ish, as to avoid any crazy stuff on the strip. They were super nice folks! He bought me a beer after Matt stormed off.

The way I often find myself doing it these days is with backticks and const declarations, so it's easy to find somewhat-arbitrary design choices ("magic numbers") that I figure I might want to change later.

Just simplifies maintenance for parameters I know I might be fiddling with.

 

We had the fried chicken benedict. It was both awful and the best meal ever. I topped it off with a mimosa and a cinnamon latte.



I nabbed a coupon for food at Linq, so I was able to hit up Hash House and the tacky but tasty Guy Fieri place for like 30% off, which was nice.
