This is probably an off topic/wall subject, but when filling out a resume and/or applications, do you include turking? If so, what info (employer, address, job descriptions) do you include? Thanks for any feedback/info. :)

It would depend on the job When I was hiring people for retail positions, I would probably be more interested in a candidate who ensured that they maintained an income, even without traditional employment. A lot of people entering those types of jobs won't do anything on their own and the fact that you're doing something with your own time instead of time you've sold might help out.

Career level jobs though? Nah probably not.

I don't but if I did I'd put self employed contractor for Amazon INc and some BS description about whatever tasks sound important. There's a contact us notice on mturk page, that's what I'd use for contact, I guess.

For me this would depend on what other experience you had, what the job is that you're applying for, etc. Like if you're applying for an IT guy job, putting down mturk transcription for pennies isn't going to really help you out much. If you're looking for a data entry/admin assistant/something similar to this type job, it might be useful.

And @pibbals point about retail and being self-sufficient is also a good one.

depends on the type of job and wether they would give serios consideration to any type of self employment. Also would probably skip mentioning mturk as it will confuse them if they have never heard of it and if they have it was probably in a negative light. If you use it describe it as working with multipple clients doing x type o
    work
I found this description awhile ago
    https://www.amazon.jobs/en/team/mec...elevant&team_category[]=mechanical-turk&cache
pick the tasks that apply to you I would pick 1-3 related tasks that sound like they could be part of the same work flow like transcription and data entry

Haven't had to yet but probably "Independent Contractor". When I mentioned "mturk" recently during the house buying process, people had no idea what I was talking about and my broker had me worried I was going to have to prove that income to the bank giving me the loan. Turns out dayjob was enough.

(sorry for the delayed response, punched into dayjob now so I'll be in some other dimension all day, responding like @leafs4_cup.... I'm totally caught up with the thread guys see? oh shit, 10 more pages!)
