Eh, the pants are super expensive so I don't really mind when she offers to buy him pants for holidays, it's just when he and I both tell her, "yeah! this style!" and she decides to get a different style that makes him look a bit more mechanic who possibly lives in the woods, a bit less engineer you trust with world's largest plane.

Look, getting him to buy 3 new shirts and 1 pair of shoes almost resulted in me murdering him in broad daylight. He is not easy to shop for. This shirt is too short, this short that is like .25 inches longer is too long! No! I don't like this color stripe, but this super similar one is fine! I DONT WANT THAT TYPE OF GREY SNEAKER, IT LOOKS WRONG, I WONT WEAR THEM!

Seriously, the fact I didn't strangle him to death with sperry shoelaces in the middle of the store is a miracle. A couple men were looking at him and shaking their heads sadly. I think they knew I was about to snap. His mom directed me to just humor him- yeah no, never gonna happen.

 

Don't get me wrong, I love Sheldon but..

 

I gave up on appearances a long time ago.

 

I doubt your body pillow will care what you look like.

That's sounds like the opposite of how shopping usually goes. Men and the ones that want to stab their eyes out when chics can't just pick something out. I dated a girl who never tried clothes on, so we always had to go back switch stuff out. I used to just tell her if I didn't have to go, I'd give her my credit card.

I just don't really ever make Matt or anyone go shopping with me much. On occasion, if we see a store somewhere we are travelling and we get thrifty together, but other than that I do my own shopping cause nobody needs to get dragged into 3 hours of my trying on dresses and eventually crying over a soft pretzel about how fat I feel.

My ex was the same way too, I just bought his clothes most of the time, cause taking him shopping was like pulling teeth and left to his own devices he would wear cargo shorts and a maroon hanes t shirt to his white collar engineer job.

 

Didn't they all end up with hot girls by the end of the show?
