No, I'm on kind of okay 4g now, the cable still isn't fixed and I'm probably going to end up taking the cable company to court, which should be a barrel of laughs.

 

The only issue with 4g besides the bandwidth limits would be latency but honestly it would be good enough to work on if your area has good coverage. (I get like 40mbps down on my 4g connection here)

This reminds me... Verizon (I'm on Tmobile) is rolling out their 5G network here in Sac starting in 2018 and it sounds like it is basically just a bunch of wireless access points that your phone connects to. Less range per a tower but much higher speeds to the point that without bandwidth metering it would be good enough for most people as their internet connection.

 

Well, bandwidth is okay, because I was screwed for so long on the 4g connection because of their error I ended up fighting with them to get unlimited with a special throttle, requests are between 90 and 270ms, which is better than the alternative, I guess.

 

That sure as hell beats dialup.

 

Holy grail guys, Windows 10 finally has a native Swype keyboard. The tablet mode on my Yoga officially doesn't suck now.

 

I want to buy a steam controller but I feel like it will go on sale when the winter sale starts...
