I havent had to file the past 4 years cause I'm disabled but it will be interesting this year and I just bought a "business laptop" to write off too. I know I have to pay SS and self employment tax

 

I never thought I would put my quad i5 to the stress I am but all those tabs and monitors take a lot and the faster I can move, the more I can make

Hey folks - popping in real quick (after a few matches of PUBG, no chicken dinners sadly, but close!) to say that tomorrow at some point (afternoon or so) I'll push out an update for the dark Worker themes.

I know MTurk's been adding/adjusting things for the transition, and I know some stuff is behaving weird, but would rather do it in one bigger update instead. This includes the white-on-white with TurkerView and black-on-grey in HIT details. Qual section will be segregated so it's easier to differentiate between the quals. Contact page ha been themed as well. Will see what else tomorrow brings. Apologies for any inconvenience.

rejected on Pnina Arad study called Answer a survey about relationships

"The description of the study clearly states we are looking for the control group, of women in normative relationships (with a man who is not suspected to be on the autism spectrum): " I already have the research group of women in relationships with autistic men. I need your help for the control group, of women who experience or experienced normative relationships with men."

I don't remember her stating that in the description, and she asked the question early on and I said "i don't know". I figured it was a screener, when I didn't get kicked out, I figured I could accept it. with MTS gone, I can't pull up the iFrame and see if she said it in the iFrame or in the mTurk Description which is next to impossible to find. I messaged her, informed her about screeners and how rejections can screw us up and asked that she use screeners in the future and overturn the rejection.

But given how www is dying tomorrow, I doubt she'll be able to do it. And with that, I"m going to bed. If anyone saved the IRB or the iFrame link so I can re-read it, send it to my inbox please.

 

Yeah, I'm gonna try to be up in six hours to witness mturk burning down.

 

If anyone is still up can you tell me where Turkerview is on worker? I see it in the header bar and I have the updated script installed but I don't see how to leave reviews or read ratings. Is it still a work in progress?

It'll only track HITs you open & submit on worker, though.

 

Looks awesome, I will play around with the dashboard and turn off a few scripts to see if I have interference.

 

Oh, also you'd have to have submitted the scripts after installing it.. it wont be able to pull ones you submitted before install.

 

I can't read ratings on the worker page if it's sorted by most hits. You have to filter the list by some other means and the TV ratings will show up. You just hover over the [View] or [Hit] icons.

I've had it installed for awhile now. A little process of elimination may work. I will let you know.

 

I just reinstalled it for the fifteenth time and now it's randomly working on worker
