    Oh crap, I always had that on the left side of my right monitor and settings buttons never open up in that position.. this is something I just figured out last week when trying to mess with the tool box for the forum.

    I'm pretty sure that the main reason that mturk is doing this change is to kill offline scanning so that might have killed off HM

    afaik it wasn't possible to get Hit Database working on the new site until yesterday when the daily hits details became available on worker. I haven't communicated with the creator but I assume it will be updated at some point.
    The creator of MturkSuite is planning on adding a similar feature to that.

    I got back to my computer -- looks like the change over is official. I had been working on the old site all day, then I refreshed my dashboard...

    This makes no sense to me. Who uses the site? The workers. Does anyone prefer the new site? Doesn't seem like it.

    I doubt a requester cares about the redesign -- how does this new site benefit them?

    Yeah we'll go with that. Its more sensible than the alternative which is that Amazon wanted to update the design to seem more modern and functional to attract workers and requesters but faaaaaaaaaaaaailed.
