Worker is bullshit

 

I've got the Panda button installed on overwatch (awesome add BTW) but when I'm wondering is -- we can't directly Panda unavailable HITs from the new worker page or MTS HF beta?

I don't have any ghost scraper functionality on HF or hit scraper anymore either to see old hits. I don't really use hit scraper but I was looking for something more like the original hit finder.

 

Just the forced change? Or is there something specific you dont like. Because I have to be honest, although the switch was really annoying I'm liking the new site.

Honestly I've barely used it yet so it's mostly about my dislike of change. Not knowing AA times is a major disadvantage with worker though. Same with it not listing how many hits are in your queue. I'm sure someone will create a script to fix that but it's still annoying to be limited to 25 hits in queue and then having to manually count them to know where you are.

Overall it feels like the site was designed more with touchscreen and mobile in mind. It seems like there's a lot less information on a single page and, although I appreciate clean and simple design, mturk is one case where I much prefer function over form. Small things like returning from queue now requiring two clicks messes with my efficiency.

 

Im not a fan of losing both sites but I agree, I like the potential of the new site

I've had serious issues when I multi-tab in the old site. I'm not sure if it was memory, or processor, or browser or what but the new site has fixed it. The hits in que thing I didn't even realize until you just mentioned it. My setup has PC open and focused on monitor #3 so I can quickly glance at the que watch tab on the bottom to see whats left. Johnnyrs has been pretty open to suggestions I'm sure he would consider numbering the hits in the que for you if you asked nicely. I'm not going to mess with his code for you because if he pushes an update it'll get screwed up.

I've never really used AA times in determining whether or not I work on a batch but if you do I see where that could be annoying as hell on the new site.
