Does that mean you'll be selling the course? I'd hate that you'd put in all that effort without people paying you to learn all that stuff you're teaching.

That's the kind of money I'd grown accustomed to when I was importing money from Belgium.
And once I'd put my clever plan into action, I didn't really have to do much work to maintain it.

I spent every last penny of it. I bought just about all of the things I'd ever really wanted to buy. I'm still selling things that I bought from back then in order to supplement my income when I want to work on something that doesn't directly generate income. For example, I just sold $300 worth of my least interesting CSGO skins, in order to cover the time I'm spending this weekend in catching up on some of the Javascript courses I bought.

My mom and grandpa both always got onto me for money burning a hole in my wallet, and they had a point, because the first thing that comes to mind when I get money is "what am I going to spend this on?" Unless I'm in threat of becoming homeless or starving, I'm generally not excited to make money unless I have something specific I want to buy in mind.

mTurk gave me a flexible fallback way of earning some money. But I'd much rather have the money be rolling in passively like it was before, and filling my time doing things that I like to do, like lifting weights, playing CSGO, reading philosophy, writing software that does silly things, etc. I'd grown accustomed to that, and losing that was a major blow to me for a while.

    Yeah, I'm selling the course.
But given piracy in the digital era, selling a pre-recorded course is more like just asking really, really hard for donations.
I'm hoping that people are generally honest and that the pricing is more than reasonable, but you never know.
Hell, as far as I know, someone on /r/mturk or MTC might buy the course and torrent it just to spite me.

I have no recollection of when I started the panda on this, and no idea how to export it now that it is done, but it only took about 10 minutes

I just realized that I'm catching more on www than worker. I wonder if that has anything to do with the fact that only a few of us realize that it still works.

Is that after insurance? I know healthcare is ridiculous, but that seems high if you have coverage.

Yeah, I totally get it. That kind of expense and intense motivator would be enough for me to grind as hard as possible as well. It's both extremely expensive and extremely important.

I scoff at people who tell me that money can't buy happiness. If money can help keep people you love alive, buying time with them is an incredible way to buy happiness.

Most people (me included) are just bad at how best to leverage money.
