Thanks but fuck photos after they were .25 for the rush job week and now back to a dime or w/e Plus I am still ash hole deep in Julian
That is only for Daytona, Talladega, or Michigan. I'm not saying you have to love NASCAR. I am saying that short-track NASCAR with big engines is not "just wait for The Big One" because it's not. Anything can happen and it does. And one pileup does not determine the race like the Superspeedways. Bristol, Marinsville, Richmond, and even the 1.5s are not to that formula. Basically that's what I'm talking about when I say there is something to like about NASCAR because 900hp in 3200lbs on .5 miles is a damned impressive spectacle and as skilled racing as there is on the planet. The pit crews are awesome and they are in almost any sport. NASCAR pits are another great part of the game and again, I don't even watch it anymore. Just saying that judging pits, fuel, and times is like a mini Le Mans every single race, even the boring Superspeedways. So if I can get someone, in person, to say they like Le Mans, but hate on NASCAR, I know there is something else about the conversation than racing attributes because NASCAR is a more intense version of Le Mans. It's just with a southern accent and Budweiser and maybe an older woman flashing her bewbs.
Eh, I mean, when you know a lot of race engineers they are very divided on it, and it usually depends on what they excel at. A lot of ME's think formula is for the better engineers, while Nascar is for the burnouts. And then you have the guys that think Formula engineers are high falutin dicks and Nascar is chill. Formula cars have a lot more change to design during any given year, and I know a lot of folks who are into that and find Nascar boring and restrictive. You're always gonna find someone on the opposite end of an opinion though, and dealing with engineer nerds hashing it out was never fun for me, I would just dip out and sample the red bull fridge. Clemson FSAE had red bull as a sponsor for years, and I think I almost had a legit stroke from the amount I consumed. Then they switched to NOS as a sponser, and I think we can all agree that red bull is better than NOS. But FUCK baja teams in college. They put friggen lawn mower engines in their piddly ass cars and I think they suck. I mean, really, different folks different strokes! I would prefer rally cars ANY DAY though, easy. I drove a mini cooper for years, I'm obsessed with small rally cars.
Speak for yourself. Yeah the Baja teams do a lot on suspension which bled over into the 4x4 world I was into a while back. Nah, it's not up to SAE speed but if you're into anti-squat and center of gravity, collegiate Baja is pretty rad. Baja on red bull AND NOS...
F1 teams cost like $100 million a year so they better run them at 19K RPM. Actually before they limited the engines, the top teams could keep them at 24K-26K. Okay, there is absolutely no way Top Fuel cars would be breaking the sound barrier shortly at 1/4 miles. They weren't even half way their when the switch to 1000' was made. The sound barrier is 700mph and the top speeds were in the 330s. Those things actually start to slow down about 1200' because they can't carry enough fuel. They would need around 4 to 5 times the horsepower to reach that speed. It would be so much g-force on the driver they would risk stroking out every run. But, I agree engineering isn't a good reason to not like racing. For example, the Pro Stock division in NHRA develops lots of tech that ends up regular cars. Chevy's old 3.6L motor is based Warren Johnson's designs from the 90s. Modern gearing is from those cars too, because they figured out how to make them low friction.
Shit how are maintaining that agreement score? I got the DQ going slow. I've done like 1200 hits before with no issue. I emailed him but haven't heard back yet.
Living with a series of mechanical engineers has made me want to stab my own ears out occasionally. Because, let me just tell you the amount of times a week I hear the phrase, "Well, as an engineer." It's the basis for every argument on anything remotely mechanical. As a birb, I will bludgeon you with a cast iron pan if you keep babbling on about this shit.
Ok, give me some room for hyperbole on sound barrier. I'm pointing out that the extra 320' is where the acceleration is the greatest and even if NHRA was starting again from scratch, you'd have to use military airfields for safe slow-down times etc. I will disagree on the fuel, though, as the last 320' are going to go by in what... 200 milliseconds or so? Unlike Fusion, which is a pipe-dream, I'm convinced that Top Fuel will find a way. I'm from the era of the 2,500hp Swamp Rat and chasing 4secs and 300mph. That's a joke today. So, rather than sound barrier, you just can't have rednecks going 450mph, 500 meters from an Interstate highway system. It's already against numerous work-safety and environmental laws, and a wonder they are allowed to run at all... 10k hp is 8k hp is stupid ridiculous. And yeah that's why I have more interest in the 'finer' sports today than when I was a kid. 1:25 for the fun.

I'm sorry, but anyone who thinks NOS doesn't taste like that stuff that drips off a sweaty ballsack has a lack of tastebuds. But really, people should enjoy what they enjoy and that's super, as long as it's not murderous or whatever.
I have no memory of buying this other visual novel on steam either. well I guess that I may as well play it. I'm not bored at all.... nope...
