it's pretty easy to get the content pulled down to sort thru later and put back up what's needed/wanted.....IDK if it's feasible to do it to the whole site given the size..but certainly individual sections could cloned

 

I have the entirety of MTG, save for the last few weeks where I kind of stopped using it, archived on a PC at home. The content obviously isn't mine to republish in full, but if anyone ever "loses" anything that they posted on MTG that was public in one of the daily threads I can always recover it for him/her.

 

Didn't get a code at the end. Just copy/pasted the entire end bit into the code submission thing, *crossing fingers*

I believe the point of that script is that it specifically deals with the spam check.

You might work faster than a robot but you don't seem very bright. You also criticisized my script for the Coco frog hits. I'm trying to remember when you've posted something useful and I'm drawing a blank.

I'm suddenly inspired to try my hand at scripting the Joe Los to demonstrate what a TOS violation would look like, but personal integrity prohibits it.

 

The same thing happened to me where it said server is disconnected - the trick is to wait it out and it will eventually go away and you will be back at the submit screen- once you type something in the comment box "no comment" and then hit submit then it goes through- I just figured it out- hope it helps.

 

I sometimes refer to the tutorials and definitely the scripts; I think important stuff gets put on greasyfork, but I know I didn't put one-offs I did there.

I think we're going to benefit from your benevolent dictatorship here; at the very least, a thread where it's just scripts that can be easily referenced is likely.

Really hardcore having the mtg backup; that was on my "I should figure out how to do this" and never did list.

I actually edited my post when I realized that circumvention of spam checks was probably not ok (as is auto filling surveys). You are misguided on me criticizing your scripts as well. I did point out to someone that those HITs did not pay well and there was not much a way to improve them. So uh, yeah. But hey, flame on brother, flame on.
