So from the hits log page, when I click on the title it opens a new tab at the address https://worker.mturk.com/requesters/PandaCrazyOnce/projects and then it immediately closes the tab on its own. Anyone with tips, hints, or ideas?

DO defaults to google's DNS for resolve.conf/network.interfaces - I swapped it to OpenDNS but makes no difference. Maybe I missed somewhere else though
