    I found one that had a house number. SCORE!!!! Then I realized it was in a Las Vegas planned development where there's like 40 streets, and all the houses are IDENTICAL. And there's 40 #2408's within the 200 yard AirBnB radius.

    That's when I said screw it.

    This reminds me of a case study I listened to in an audiobook about happiness - it concluded that Olympic bronze medalists were overall happier with the outcome than silver medalists. The silver medalists were fixated on the gold they didn't get, while the bronze medalists were focused on the fact that they actually got a medal.

    I listened to like a bazillion (OK, probably realistically somewhere around 10-12) audiobooks on the science of happiness several years ago when I was down in the dumps. Somehow that helped me more than having someone patting me on the back and telling me to cheer up. It was a weird therapy method, but it worked, and it was really interesting.
