He's changing them so that when they're updated, there's a line that makes turkerhub.com redirect to a 404

 

Ohhh, okay thank you both! I was worried it might have been something even worse. Still not cool though.


There should really be a way to prevent only certain scripts from auto updating.

 

What's he banned for? Just calling someone a B? Which would have been like a few days ban?

But after this vindictive streak, he's probably looking at something a bit longer. Permanent is pretty long, right?

 

Hopefully they will just do a search for TurkerHub and use that link.

 

It's a total dick move, don't get me wrong...

...but the level of pettiness to which this is escalating is kind of making me chuckle.

 

Won't matter. Will still redirect.

You caught one too I see. These only take me 7 minutes... if you can get one (of the billion GIDs). Got 4 within an hour yesterday around midnight.

I haven't been working much this past month. I'm sometimes signed into the forum but not really paying attention. There's just too much going on to keep up with. Wife's work schedule has changed. It's now 5 days a week, 12 hours a day. Doctor has her off on the weekends because of her foot and ankle. Unless a doctor has given you restrictions then all the others are doing the same M-F 12 hour days PLUS 8 on both Sat & Sun. There's some serious BS going on at that company. I think the most I've been getting done is a morning MadLabs if I catch them, maybe a couple Joe's, a few evening C-Sats, that's about it. Just the reliable daily things that pop up on a known schedule, nothing during the daytime though.

Mostly been working on things in the house and trying to keep ahead of stuff. Need to finish building bathroom cabinets and changing them out. Have a leak in the back roof, can't do anything about it until the weather changes. It's been either ice and zero degrees or 40 degrees with 30+ mph winds. Not getting on the roof in either. Been trying to study for my Extra Class HAM license, learning more linux when I can, and trying to get my system set up properly again.

Once things get back to normal it looks like I'll have to learn quite a bit all over again. Not really crazy about worker. It will take some time to get used to it. Until then I'm just stumbling through.
