Hey, this sounds like almost everybody in my town!

I legitimately know a girl a year or two younger than me (so 24 or 25) with SEVEN kids.

Mine was 100% an irresponsible oops, but I did the smart thing after that and went on birth control. Then when that failed, I was realistic about it, gave my second up for adoption, and got my tubes tied.

It was basically my parents. It's also my sister and my cousins as well. My cousin(who's like a year older than me) just had his third. I'm counting it as his fourth, though, since very technically(he's the one who bought him) my dog is his as well. My dog that he doesn't buy food for, or take to the vet, or even acknowledge more than once in a blue moon.

 

People are just so awful about getting in over their heads because of things they want. I will fully admit even I did that (with the doggo, although if it had been up to me that isn't the breed I would have chosen), but I was realistic enough to realize he needed somewhere better for him, I found him a beter home, and learned my lesson.

My daughter's siblings father, he can't keep a place to live, can't keep utilities on, but is always posting on facebook about how badly he wants more kids. I just don't understand it.

I mean obviously it's something we've discussed. She's not even sure she can physically have children due to reasons, but wants to try to at least have one if and when we do decide to have kids. I made the decision a long time ago I don't want to bring more life onto earth when it has so many, but I would never deny anyone else that desire/want/need

 

Seriously, like even if it isn't a complication, your body will never be the same. I had never in my life had back problems, and now it kills.

 

People just don't understand that kids are more than cute pictures and anecdotes you see on Facebook. His two older kids are good kids, but one is showing signs of having serious behavior issues that will probably go rectified because that's just not how most people around here do things. I'm still mildly upset about the dog, because there's 0% chance I would've ever willingly gotten a pit bull, but he's mine now and I love him and I'm actually capable of taking care of him. When my cousin brought this puppy to our house he had him living in the back of his car in a crate. That was like two years ago and I don't think I'll ever stop holding a grudge against him for that. He stays with me now, though.
