Good morning- couldn't go back to sleep after I woke up at 3 am-

I finally got a Galileo a couple of hours ago and I get this message- Thank you for working on our HITs! Unfortunately, all of the remaining HITs in this project have been reserved for other workers, and there are none left for you to do. Please check again tomorrow for more HITs to be available. So bummed- I haven't returned it yet, kept thinking maybe someone would return theirs-- but nope- I don't want to return it ...lol

I downloaded mine to Dropbox and cannot get them back- tried the zip- only time they all imported for me was when I traded computers and imported everything from my other one.

I got that far, but needed instructions for after that part- could not find any- looked online for a video but there isn't one- instructions just say like you did, go here and then pick up from after you have it imported.

 

If you go into the dashboard -> Utilities -> Cloud section and click on "Show Backups" does it show anything there? If so, it should have an import button.

Edit: Make sure to select Dropbox from the drop down. It defaults to Google Drive, I think?

 

Did you save them on your computer to start with instead of the cloud?

maybe 1 computer doesn't have the same permission to access you dropbox files as the other one? just guessing, idk. mine are only getting downloaded to my computer then back up when needed. at least we got them back.

You are capped, which means you have probably have played one of their connect 4 games before.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but even if everyone returned theirs, you'd still be capped.

Not sure if that is my scripts or not- doesn't say Tampermonkey- (but, maybe that is it) and I had saved them on Dropbox trying different ways- so maybe the last time I did it I didn't do it right- but this time I would like to save them so the next time FF crashes, I don't lose them all again, which is why I was asking about just saving them to the computer- how do I do that?

 

On that same page - Utilities, in the Zip section, hit Export.

Those are your backups, they don't say tampermonkey in the name for me either, just backup-chrome. And then you have a date stamp for when you did it, your most recent one is from 12/31/17 and you could import it by selecting it.

 

that's easy like @HarryHood said the upload is written in smaller text that's why I missed it. but uploading is easy too. you can email a backup to yourself from your desktop. I do that sometimes. then I have them in my email if my computer breaks.

 

Ok- thanks- I was trying to just import from Dropbox and it wouldn't work. I have lost my scripts so many times and have to import them all by hand again- tried to export them to a flash drive but it just goes round and round saying, "please wait", for hours and nothing ever happens.

 

How do you do that?

 

Export it to your desktop or somewhere local to your computer first and then copy it to the flash drive.

 

When you say" the upload" do you mean import?

 

yes

in your email, compose an email to your own email address. click "add attachment" or whatever it says. add the tampermonkey backup zip folder as an attachment to the email.
