This is why the South has the poorest states. Nothing wrong with using cash though, I do the same because I hate that everything you buy is tracked and cash means that Walgreens doesn't have a file on how often I buy condoms, so they can send me a coupon when I'm running low. My mom always had to take care of the money too. My dad always had cards though, but he never paid bills or kept track of the money. I wonder how many men are that oblivious. I just can't imagine living like that. I never even had a shared account with my ex wife.
