I think I just did the same HIT...

 

Work was just a shit show this week in general. The client I was working for changed what they wanted halfway through the project, and I had to scrap 2 weeks of work.

Matt's dragging me to the dirtbike track tommorow and said I'm banned from working all day. He said he's worried that otherwise, he'd come home and find me babbling about parcel numbers in the corner, yanking my own feathers out. Pfft, I guess.

 

We literally cannot take a vacay to Austraila any time soon. He still won't tell me what exactly he did but I've seen the paper work that says he is barred temporarily. I could never try to compete with the level of chaos Matt causes. He's on another level entirely.

"Temporary" - that goes away. I got barred from a certain country that I won't name but I happen to live here now.

 

I was banned from Mexico for 2 years. I usually don't tell people what happened. They don't need to know.

I've taken Titan to the bar by my house that is walking distance. I do it on weeknights, so there isn't a ton of people. I know the owner so he's pretty chill his a giant dog walking around. I tend to purposely let him walk off toward some girls so I have an in. Dogs are the best wingmen.

I probably couldn't take him to New Orleans though. That would just get out of hand. Some girl would try to show him her tits and he'd jump up on her and then try to hump her. I don't to have to register him as a sex offender. Plus, people would give him booze and then I'd have a 200 lbs dog throwing up on Bourbon Street. No thank you.

 

There are enough residences in the French Quarter that most people are used to dogs, especially larger dogs, being around the bars and restaurants, don't mess with them when they're tied up outside, etc. Nighttime during an event may be hard because of all of the stupid tourists, but on regular nights and most days/evenings, a dog would be fine.

 

I'm just trying to figure out how someone even gets banned for 7 years...the idea of breaking rules is so foreign to me that I do not even understand how this happens.

Felix was a giant, derpy looking fella. His mane was glorious and he was the smartest dog Matt or I have ever encountered. He was a kickass SAR dog, and his tracking abilities were INSANE. Taking care of my shitty little medical tasks barely used his brainpower, but he still did SAR and would tag along with me during psych clinicals (I got permission, and a competent service dog paling around with the psych staff for free is a plus for any hospital). He put Matt through the paces when we started dating and Matt had to ply him with gifts to gain his favor. If he was peeved with matt, he would stuff himself between us. Loved that pupper.

Felix loved going places with me, cause he always got food. He would sit so politely under the table, a consumate canine professional- his puppy dog eyes were aces though, and he would always get some sort of free food. He was protective Af though, which made traveling alone (with health issues) a lot more comfortable. There were a few rough years where I don't think I could have had as much autonomy without decent medical care and my service dog having my back at all times.

LOL, no trafficking. That would have had WAY worse ramifications for sure, he never went to jail for whatever it was, they made him scram but nothing else happened. The most I've heard is something to do with him waking up after a night of drinking on top of some building, something of that insane nature. I've always wondered if he decided he could trespass somewhere with a high level security, succeded, and got told to gtfo. He promptly punched the friend in the arm who said that much.

Part of me really respects privacy, and part of me knows there is paperwork somewhere in this house or the storage container that has deets.
